What Premium adds
Core foreground visual navigation is free. Premium adds voice guidance and navigation while the app is in the background or the phone is locked. Compare the 7-day pass and annual plan on the pricing page.
Voice guidance follows your planned route. It does not detect every hazard or replace checking signs, closures and conditions around you.
Check your setup before skiing
Plan the journey and start navigation while you can safely stop. Allow the location access requested for the navigation you want to use. Check the selected voice and playback volume before putting the phone away.
Available voices depend on those installed on your iPhone. The app supports English, French and Simplified Chinese; check the voice you intend to use before your trip.
Keep the instructions in context
Review the map when an instruction is unclear, stopping somewhere appropriate first. Avoid adjusting the phone while moving. End navigation in the app when your journey is finished.

Prepare offline data separately
Premium does not remove the need to download the relevant map and routing data. Before losing your connection, check the route and the restriction information required to start navigation.
