What an offline download contains
A ski-area package brings together the map, local piste and lift search, and the routing network. Download the area you intend to use in Settings → Map and offline maps. Keep the app open until the package is ready.
Map downloads and core map use are free. Foreground visual navigation is also free; spoken guidance and navigation with the phone locked require Premium.
Planning without a connection
With the necessary data installed, you can find local pistes and lifts and calculate supported routes. Check the specific journey you intend to take before relying on it offline. A missing area, connection or transport dataset can limit the available route.
An offline map does not make an online place search available without a connection. Find your intended start and destination in advance and check the downloaded area.
Reconnect before starting your day
Starting navigation requires restriction information updated within the last 24 hours. If that information is missing or too old, reconnect and try again. A route affected by a known restriction cannot be started.
This check is not a live piste-opening service or a guarantee of safety. Resort signs, closures and staff instructions remain authoritative.
Prepare once, check before each outing
Complete the offline checklist before leaving Wi-Fi. Look at the map, search for a run, plan your intended route and check that navigation can start while you still have a connection.
